There was a time when I simply wouldn't have believed this story but sadly that's no longer the case as more and more examples of police short-comings come to light.
She's a very brave and resourceful lady .

The thieving scumbag should be named along with his address.
The police should be taken to court for not fulfilling their duty and/or not protecting the public. Staff shortages or financial costs should not be an excuse for not following this through.

The problem for our civil society is that the old saying, 'You must not take the law into your own hands.' is now a busted flush.
Unless the government take urgent steps to re- staff the Police, vigilantism will surface

Don't get me started... Cuts to staffing levels due to budget levels, *******!
e.g. A brand new BMW X5 (£55k) plus interceptor kit plus two overweight cops inside it, that only gets used in car chases for a drunken pillock, gets written off etc etc, that must be the wages for at least a couple of beat bobbies to track bike thieves.
