The 36v 10 amphr lifepo and charger I bought from daoj666 in October 2011 is doing well despite early misgivings. The cells took a long time to settle in and balance and I may not have helped by doing some rather deep discharges too soon in-order to measure the capacity. I now treat in nicely, recharging after 50% or less discharge. Probable done 40 or so shallow cycles but I suspect the internal resistance is still dropping (which is good) and the cells are staying balanced.
I did read somewhere that lipos contain an self discharge inhibitor which disperses in the early life of the battery. Anybody corroborate this?
