Hi folks,
I signed up for 50cycles demonstrator scheme a few weeks ago and I have been fairly busy so far. However, I am finding that test riders tend to crunch gears and knock them out of whack. I always give thorough explanations about how to use, but I think that test riding nerves and ignorance of how the hub systems works is causing a great deal of strain on the bike. Has any other demonstrators experienced a similar problem.
I think it might be better for 50cycles to offer free annual servicing for x number of demonstrations rather than their current commission scheme for sales ( or even both??).
I really enjoy meeting potential e-bikers and enjoy talking about the bike and the joys of e-biking. In fact, I would be happy to let people test ride for nothing and foregt any commission, but I am am becoming increasingly worried about the wear and tear issue.
I will email Lloyd at 50 cycles and see what he thinks.
