Derailleur problem

I have fitted my new dérailleur today, and all is working very well, so for what ever reason it was causing me a problem its now fixed. I would like to thank every one for the input and help.
It so nice to change gear and it just works.!

I hope you've thrown the old one out and not kept it "just in case it comes in handy" which is what I'm often guilty of!
