Di Blasi Folding Trike throttle option?

Not sure if anyone ever worked out how to do this, but my wife has one of these, but it only has pedal assist, and she would ideally like a throttle for occasional use. Does anyone have any experience of this, or ideas as to how it could be done....? Thanks

If the metal box /controller has a wired outlet for one then yes, if not no. The controller pcb has to have the software and programming for one, it is not something one can add.

Thanks, I've got a feeling that the controller might be built into the motor assembly? These trikes are apparently available with a throttle option, so am hoping it might not be too complicated.......I'll have to take a closer look!

Some can plug in to the display otherwise one is looking for a spare often 3 wire connector.
