I have a US sourced replacement for the Panasonic charger for the Giant LA Free Twist Lite as recommended a few years ago on a really helpful website (possibly set up by Flecc) that I can no longer find. It had a2b in the title but was not the magazine site I have found. sadly on plugging in this morning the charger went pop! I desperately need a replacement - that model has been fantastic but it lost its name tag a while back and I don't know what to replace it with. Please does anyone know either the model or the location of the site that showed how to use it to replace the naff Panasonics Giant supply or can recommend an alternative?

The ISP supplying my website spaces let me down and they are now on different links. I've asked A to B to change their quicklinks page but no response.

The charger that's failed is no longer made, but here's the link you need for the charger that replaces the original recommendation.

Flecc you are an angel for such a quick response, I can't quite believe that one bike will be onto its 3rd charger and 3rd battery (if you include recelling) - I'm dead impressed with its longevity- it'll be having a 10 yr celebration next year :D

Thanks Shemozzle999 - I'm afraid that's the original Giant supplied the Powerstream model Flecc recommends was so much more efficient until it went pop!

They are amazingly reliable on the whole, just that Panasonic charger letting the side down. The latest charger from Powerstream is not quite the same as the former one, it doesn't have a discharge feature, but that's not important and it seems to be working well for others.

Charger has just arrived though it got picked up for duty on entry into the UK which cost 24 quid including ParcelForce's handling charge. Annoying it doesn't have a green wire for sensor any more - appears to be a dark blue. Confusing or what!
On checking on Powerstream website I discovered the pins are wired differently in this version of the charger - blue is negative still. Please take care to check each model!
