It never seizes to amaze me just how many new hamlets we find when riding local on our bikes, we found another unknown unbridged ford today (that`s two in a week) tucked away down a track that we wouldn`t have seen but for riding our E bikes. We are discovering a whole new area of our county with quiet virtually unused roads and small hamlets right in our area.

How about this for a refreshment stop:D tea_up_on_the_twin_hub Photo Gallery by david chilvers at pbase.com

Add a few pipes, a couple of pistons and some cranks and you won't need the hub motor and battery any more Dave!

Oh, forgot, and a steam whistle of course. :D

I find it one of the nicest things about cycling and the e-bike is the same but extends the range of exploration.

My pet love is London - I ride my Tasman to, say, Mayfair or Bloomsbury about 10 miles and then just explore the streets. You come across the most amazing little shops and squares and areas all over the city.

All the time, you can stop, park, get a beer, ride canal towpaths with the same freedom as a pedestrian but with the range of a motor vehicle.

I sometimes feel it's the greatest freedom there is, to just roam.

When your legs and batteries run out of steam, here is another power source for you! And you can make a cupper without the need of a kettle.
