Downgrading from KIOX to Intuvio

I have a new bike. I've replaced my Cube Hybrid touring pro with an Bosch ALP for an E-Vertic FT with CX. A very nice bike in many ways.
It comes with a KIOX 300. In theory an upgrade. It has lots of features like calories, Cadence, etc. Looking at those was fun for about 3 rides then I lost interest. Frankly, I miss my Intuvio. It has everything I want on one screen and I can use it to tell the time when its off the bike. The KIOX is just a lump of plastic in my pocket off the bike.

I want to downgrade. When i replaced my original Intuvio on the cube with a new one it was a simple case of changing the mount and plugging in the existing cable to the mount. My question. Can I do this again or do I need to run a different cable back to the motor?
Just to Clarify. The cable to the mount is detachable and looks the same. The KIOX uses more of the bikes sensors than the intuvio but that should not (in theory) matter. Does anyone know or be willing to hazard a guess?

Cheers

The Intuvia 100 and the Kiox 300 are both listed for use on Bosch Smart System bikes. As far as I can tell the Intuvia 100 (as opposed to the old Intuvia version) should fit in the existing Kiox 300 mount and cable, but to be safe rather than sorry you should confirm that with Bosch support or your local dealer. I read the link. I didn't realise that the Intuvia had been updated to smart. Mine is an older one and it definitely won't fit. The cables on the KIOX look sealed on. If I want an Intuvia I'll need a new one and I'd probably have to run the cable back to the motor. If I need to buy new I'll talk to the main dealer. Getting them to fit it too could be the way to go.

OK, I have read up some more on this and it seems the Intuvia 100 connects wirelessly via bluetooth to the LED Remote controller you presumably already have on your bikes hadlebars. The Intuvia 100 is battery powered (coin cell type), so you could just buy the Intuvia 100 and the holder, links to E-bike24 below for your info(but no idea if they trade in the UK) unplug the Kiox holder from the Led Remote, remove it and replace it with the new holder.
P.S. the cables to my Kiox are definitely not sealed the do unplug/plug in.
Hope that helps.:)

I seem to remember someone upgrading to Kiox and needing a dealer visit to activate it. Worth checking before making changes.

I use a separate cycle computer alongside my Shimano display for added functions and the ability to fine-tune wheel size for accurate speed and distance.

I've had a closer look at the Intuvia 100. Its changed completely compared to the old type and won't do all what I want anyway. I have an old Garmin 25 which amazingly took a charge so I'm going to try that.
So I'm sticking with the Kiox I guess.

Many thanks.
