wisper have gone from having a reasonably good bike but with an exceptional hands on in house back up service, they are still selling a reasonably good bike but without the excellent service, appointing sales agents to get a bigger share of the market but are now less hands on.
Hi Paul

A little harsh maybe?

We have been dealing exclusively through Wisper Service Centres for more than three years now, with only one or two exceptions the level of service offered by these guys is exceptional. When ever we hear that the service being provided is not up to scratch we contact both the customer and Service Centre to help resolve matters as quickly and efficiently as possible. We still have the Wisper Tech back up if our Service Centres have a problem they cannot deal with. If a Wisper Service Centre consistently under performs we suspend suplies.

We are proud of our hands on service and believe we are one of the easiest companies to work with if something does go wrong. I am always available to all our customers and publish my private mobile number on our website (and even in my signature on pedelecs posts!) should anyone need to speak to me. Surely if our service was as poor as you suggest, I would not be in a position to do this? Consider we have 1000's of bikes now on the road in the UK and many 1000's more from New Zealand to Canada. If our service wasn't up to scratch I would be inundated with calls. Quite the opposite, I can quite honestly say I have only had two calls regarding service issues in the last few weeks, one regarding a bike that was DOA (currently being collected and if necessary replaced) and another more serious problem where a bike has multipal issues, some marks (scratches) on the frame, a coat guard that is rubbing on the wheel, and a battery that has some marks on the case. In both cases we are doing all we can to resolve the problems and both these customers will have my full attention until they are happy with their bikes.

Sorry to go on a bit Paul, but we do try very hard! :)

All the best

David
