Hi All,

I am brand new to this forum and actually signed-up on behalf of an elderly friend of mine, who bought a CityLight Mk II about 5 or 6 years ago. The battery no longer holds the charge, so needs to be replaced, but from what I can gather the company who make the bikes, E3, has gone bust.

A little bit of research tells me that this company that makes the batteries: http://en.lishen.com.cn. I can't though seem to find an email address to contact them on.

The information I could find on the battery itself is that it is "Lithium-ion 36V 10Ah from LISHEN, 360Wh Capacity".

Does anybody know where I could either get hold of an original, or even a non-original, but compatible replacement part? And also what the rough cost is likely to be.

Thanks in advance.

Tony

It's a standard battery. You can find them on Ali-express. search for "36v silver fish battery", then look for one with the same dimensions as yours.

BGA Reworking re-cell is another good solution. They'll make it better than it was when new.

As you are in London look up BGA or just pop in and say hi they are very friendly and welcoming, about 10 mins walk from Bounds Green tube station along B.G Road.
