Ebike Sales and Kalkhoffs

Theres a short piece on bikeradar on ebikes.

It made me wonder how many kalkhoffs are selling? Anyone know how many have been shifted? Worldwide from derby cycles that is.......

read the article...One thing I don't understand is why both the motor wattage AND the speed needs limiting.

surely a more powerful motor will hill climb easier even if top speed limited....why is this not allowed?

Might get a USA model when I visit next time lol
