Watch it on catch-up or read this summary.

They were trying to help a guy ride to work without getting sweaty, so offered him a choice of three bikes, on which he did a few laps around a flowerbed to evaluate them:
1. The Electric Brompton. He felt unstable on it. One interesting comment was that you can't change power levels while on the go!
2. A Volt something or other with rear hub-motor. He thought it was the fastest out of the three. Volt have some relationship with TGS, so take anything they say about it with a pinch of salt.
3. The Gtech. He said it was faster than the Brompton, but slower than the Volt

Final decision was none of them because they were all too expensive. I guess they forgot to ask him his budget first!

i watched the show and noted the volt pulse seemed fairley light at 19kg about £1500.
just looked at specs on volt website battery is either 60 mile 0r 80 mile vertion
but does not mention ah of either.
I then notice weight of bike is without battery fitted so nearer 22.4kg,
also range was 11stone rider, sunny flat, no wind.

I thought it was a little strange that they didn’t include a crank powered model, and the course was a bit limiting to say the least!
