On the BBC today, their Click program about tech stuff was a short bit on Electric bikes. The guy was pedalling around laughing his head off at being able to cycle without effort, but then mentioned that it was very difficult to go slow because of the very limited control system he had on his bike. Then he mentioned the price: $3000.
Where do they get these bikes from? Why didn't he choose a Woosh TS? What bike was it he was riding? That's right. You guessed it: The Vanmoof. Only two levels of assist, max and 50%. No throttle. Not bad for £2000. Don't get killed in the rush to buy one. Place your order now for September (maybe) delivery. Couldn't they have reviewed a bike that's actually on sale?
