I have just completed 70 miles on my new Eco-bike Adventure and would like to pass on these observations to any-one contemplating the same purchase.

Change the tires, the tread pattern on the tires supplied are not aggressive enough for
good old British mud.

The Adventure has two power setting's,Eco and Turbo, these settings can be set up by the supplier using a lap top connected by a can-bus lead, and as supplied the Eco-mode is too low,
ask for it to be set to 7amps,I am 65 and find that this setting makes a good compromise between power and range off-road.

fit a rear mudguard, without it the battery gets covered in mud,not a good situation,I have fitted a cut down rear guard so the looks of the bike are not compromised.

Fit a magura front hydraulic rim brake, this is not a really necessary but as I had a set on another old mountain bike and liked the stopping power and modulation off road I decided to fit it.

Having reached 65 and finding that 30 miles off road was becoming a bit difficult especially the heavy winter mud this bike has given me a new lease of life, weather looks good so I'm off to clock up some more miles.
