Don’t you just hate it when you park up your bike and the front wheel swings around causing your bike to crash to the ground. I’ve been dithering for some some time about fitting one of these elastomer dampers. It’s a newer version of the old spring type which i’ve been told creak a lot. Some reviews i read said they affect steering in a negative way. Some said they improve handling. I must say i find it’s the latter. Works great even though i have fitted mine to the crossbar. It made it easier to fit to my bike with suspension forks.D16BCA5D-5F72-4655-89CC-A9A67216A74E.png

I might have a go at a DIY version before buying a proper one to see how I get on with it. Might make my bike more relaxing to ride, and as you say easier to park.

I'm also imagining riding no-handed everywhere I go. :)

This adaptor is necessary for suspension forks. I was not aware of this and bought the type without adaptor. It is not available separately and that’s the reason i’ve fitted mine to the crossbar. Works great.
