Does any one know anything about this company Electric Trucks and Cars in Stanley, County Durham, UK from Elecscoot.

Been trying to find a decent second-hand local bike for a member of this forum and found this Electric Cycle 24V 12AH Lithium battery-- All Aluminium Mountain bike | eBay

They wont answer and questions and it looks like Elecscoot is still trying to make them, so is this bike a trial bike?
The photos of the bike are taken outside Elecscoot's premises in Annfield Plain. It's just a few miles from where I live. I don't know anything about the bike in question . I bought my Tonaro Bighit from there secondhand a year ago (had no problems). The guy who owns the business is Ian Allison and my dealings with him were OK. He was in the middle of a move from small premises in No.1 Estate Consett to the much bigger premises in Annfield Plain so things were a bit disorganised - he had big plans for expansion selling electric vehicles but I don't know if they have come to fruition. With regard to the bike in question I'd be a bit dubious if there is no brand name - and the price quoted in the advert for a new bike seems optimistic (24 volt/12amp bike with rear wheel motor - you could get a Juicy bike with a better spec for half that). Heck I'll sell you my Cyclamatic for a reasonable price as it is a similar spec. and you know you can get spares/batteries from SportsHQ.

If you don't bid on this bike I can swing by Annfield Plain to check things out on Friday on my way down to Ferryhill and get back to you if that would help.

hmmm.... odd that. Not the offer of a cuppa but the bike being pulled. Thanks for the offer by the way but that is why I am off to Ferryhill anyway - visit mother and have a cup of tea with the grand old lady - just turned 88 and still as sharp as a tack.

If you are ever up this way and fancy a ride around the Derwent Valley on the C2C or up to Parkhead from Consett or the Keelman's Way on the Tyne give the me the nod and I'll be happy to ride along.
