Electric bike error 10

Hi there.
Please I need a help for my brand new electric bike kit.
Everything works perfect instead of the break levers. Once I connect them the display show error 10. The wires that come of the controllers are Black, white and red, but the once from the break lever are black and red.
Please, any idea what the problem could be?
It is 1000w 48v e bike kit with sw900 display.

The connection is incorrect and you are shorting the controller's 5V regulator to ground. Hopefully nothing is permanently damaged. Instead, you need to connect the red brake lever wire to controller yellow and leave the black brake lever wire connected to controller black.
