Saw a chap on Friday night at a mates bonfire who I hadn't seen for a few years, he has become a keen cyclist and was interested to hear about electrics.
Amongst our discussions he told me how once a year with his brother he gets the train to London early Sunday morning and spends the day touring all the major sights and locations before getting the train back again last thing in the evening.
With a little planning the train fair is small, food is in a rucksack, roads are very quiet, access is excellent and the tour from a bike gives a view of the place from a different perspective.
It would be an interesting way of generating awareness as well as testing many bikes against one another for speed/distance/weight/style and quality.
