In Devon, the Peak District and the Lake District, you can now hire Giant Electric Bikes for a relaxing cycle. Great for getting more people enjoying cycling, and also raising awareness of electric bikes.

That's brilliant news, BUT both the news items (above and other one in Hants the other day) featured the bikes on the flat. One of the guys intereviewed who tried one out on the flat, said "No effort at all". They probably edited the rest of the interview though...

I loved the fact the local cafe and other business' have joined in to offer battery charging facilities. Great idea for everyone concerned.
