eVELO Has anyone seen or heard of these

Just trawling through various bikes and came across eVELO an American firm that seems to produce something reasonable

Has anyone any experience of the firm , product and US. pricing seems pretty good to me

Don't know what sort of crank-drive that is . Any comments?

Thats the Tonaro Bighit which Powerpedals in South Moulton sell

These are marketed under various names, here in the UK as the Tonaro brand and sold by Powerpedals.

The bike and power unit originate in China but the motor unit appears to be almost identical to the one Yamaha originally designed and sold until they changed to a design more like the Panasonic. We have a number of Tonaro owners as members who think very highly of their bikes, and Powerpedals seem to give very good service on present evidence.
