Extending PAS sensor cabling

Hi all

Unfortunately as I'm a lanky wotsit the standard length lead for the PAS sensor is too short.
Am I alright to cut the cable and splice in some extra length, or are there any gotchas to be aware of (eg do all 3 cables have to be exactly same resistance and length, or can I use some scraps)?

PS just tried the cruise function of the S12S (bike on stand, not yet on the road) activated by momentary switch. It works perfectly - throttle to required speed, hit the switch and cruise is activated immediately.

Yes, you can extend the length no problem.

That, nice to know about the cruise control. I hope I'm crediting the right person when I say that I think it was Amigafan that discovered it first. Thanks for confirming that it works with the S12S.
