Ezee Derestrict Switch

I feel sure someone has done this already and would like to hear how.

I am currently running my Ezee Forza in derestricted mode, but want to fit a simple on/off handle bar mounted switch to enable me change easily between restricted and derestricted mode.

I lack the discipline to restrain from using full throttle when ever possible and think a simple switch would help cure this.

What switch should I use?

An alternative might be some sort of mechanical means of restricting the amount throttle rotation?

Any suggestions would be welcome.

I used this rocker switch from DirtBikeStore. Page down on this link to Handlebar Lighting Rocker Switch.

Used an indelible marker to erase everything except Off (=Offroad !).

Thanks James,

That is exactly the sort of switch I was thinking of, I guess it is waterproof too .

It is not waterproof as such, but seems to be sufficiently shielded to do the job.

Thanks for the tip Tony. I frequently use you site as source of invaluable information.
In my job I throw away about 20 pairs of used Nitrile surgical gloves a day, great if you have an allergy to latex, but for strength and durability I would recommend latex for every purpose;)

I agree latex is better John, but the vinyl gloves are so cheap and readily available I used those.

That switch is great - thanks for sharing James!

I've been looking for something like that for a while now to pop on my Forza.
