..and value for money!
So right Trex, we are no means the cheapest or the most expensive by a long way, but if you compare like for like, we do offer value for money.

eZee has been in this business since 2001 and as a result have a lot of experience on a worldwide scale.

My recommendation is also to always consider the eZee brand when choosing an e-bike. I've only ever owned one other make of e-bike and no longer have that alternative.

That is the problem they still look the same, imo the torq 2 i think had a brilliant motor for hill climbing and freewheeling ability, much better than the bafang one it replaced, but stuck in that old frame it seemed to go unnoticed no new bike =no new reviews, anyway i have binned my torq frame as it looked outdated and the elongated frame did not feel right going round corners, the other major problem for me was that the bike came with a 52 tooth chainwheel, great for going downhill at 30mph but completeley useless uphill without full power, ezee needs a new modern looking design bottle battery or in frame battery bike.

A google search on ezee reviews, comes up with 2011 as the newest and a couple of 2007 reviews, the motors are very good and deserve more recognition, although i have not tried a bpm motor the opinion seems to be that the ezee motors have very similar power, and are probably more reliable.

Hi Paul,

It seems the Torq II was the bike for you when you bought it, but have fallen out of love with it for the reasons that you state.

Maybe you would have been better to go for an eZee conversion kit installed on a non powered bike that you really like. Nowadays, eZee also have the option of a bottle battery.

There are really no up to date eZee press reviews. I have approached the press and offered a bike for review, but my request was either ignored or I was told that I had to pay for advertising space and then join a queue for a review.

To be frank, a lot of the info about eZee in the media is quite old and when it comes to lists of data, inaccurate.

We are not a 'stack em high sell em cheap' outfit or in the 2K plus league. We operate on tight margins and don't have a huge advertising budget the costs of which are ultimately passed on to the customer.

I'm not complaining about that, it's where we are right now. The bottom line is we know we have good product, we just need to get the word out there.

ezee needs a new modern looking design bottle battery or in frame battery bike.
The kit option is an answer for that need, but I believe the traditional designs should also stay.

An outstanding feature of the eZee brand is a decade of the same battery case and mounting, meaning that no owner has ever been let down for a replacement battery, no matter how old the bike or how much the battery chemistry has been updated.

No other e-bike manufacturer has a common battery case and mounting covering a range of years and models, including a folder. And few can supply fresh batteries ex-stock for models once they are more than 2 or 3 years old. This eZee advantage is too valuable to lose completely in the name of fashion.
