Ordered my diamond frame battery bag from FalconEV just under a week ago.

Arrived pretty quick considering it came from America, and no import fees either... Bonus

Cost $59 delivered, which is around £38.

The bag squeezes into my 17" Cyclamatic frame, but is not ideal.

It'll eventually be fitted to a 19" frame and will fit like a glove :D

As you can see from the pictures, there are two cable slots. One on the underside at the front of the bag, and one on the top at the rear of the bag.

There are nine beefy velcro straps to attach it to the frame. Four at the top, three at the bottom, and two at the rear.

The bag has two outer mesh pockets. One smaller one next to the green FalconEV motif, and a larger one on the other side.

Two hefty zips open the bag up fully. These are designed to be lockable together too.

The zip runner is well covered by a rubbery material, so appears to be waterproof.

Overall, the bag is incredibly well made and is flaming huge. Capacity for a big battery in here, mounted exactly where it should be. Nice low centre of gravity and balancing the bike out too.

If anyone wants one, go to:

Lithium iron phosphate, LiFePO4, Lithium ion batteries, LiMn, scooter batteries, e-bike batteries

and scroll just over half way down to find it :D

You had me going for a bit. I was thinking of it packed full of lipos at 72v like they do on ES.

Look forward to seeing the finished project.

Is there no where in the uk that does a similar bag at all?
Does look like good quality though

I have done hours of research on frame bags, hoping to find a reputable company from the UK.
The only company I could find is:

Frame Bags « Wildcat Gear

They can customize the bags to your own spec, but expect to pay £100 plus for the privilege

The FalconEV bag is very good quality though, and I doubt if one would need anything more.
I plan to insert some high density foam, cut-out to the size of the bag.
Then remove enough foam from the centre to fit the battery in snuggley.
Should protect the battery nicely from road shocks, which is my greatest concern.
There are some handy slits in the bag for the cabling too.
Well worth just under forty quid.
Shame it doesn't look like the Ping 48v 15Ah battery will fit though :(
I think most people already have a bike, and try to modify a kit to fit that bike.
I'm doing the reverse, which should result in exactly the set-up I want.
If it doesn't work out, I can always store my pies in there :D

Mmm pies. Why have batteries when you can have more pies!
There jsut as good for energy density!
