In the USA these are often fitted with the BionX rear wheel motor.

The Nano is unsuitable since it's front wheel fitting, and the Montague "fold" involves taking off the front wheel.

You might consider a Dahon Jack or Espresso. Both are good quality folding bikes - the front wheel stays attached in the fold.

The Espresso is available for a bargain price at Warlands, Botley Road, Oxford. I'm having my TETS motor refitted to one at present and will let you know how it works out.

It may well survive a 1000 ft jump, but will it survive a landing on those power lines about 20 ft below it?

Strange coincidence because I had a go on one those bikes today!.

Well kind of..

I've just got me a new video game called ArmA 2 and it has wide selection of military vehicles to drive around in. One of those vehicles being that bike!.

These video games are getting incredibly realistic. Riding along the virtual roads of Europe was almost as pleasant as being on my ebike. That is until I bumped into a T72 tank... PEDAL DAMMIT!!

These Montague bikes are available here in the UK from SwissBike.

Unfortunately the most suitable motors for the rear wheel are the BionX and Heinzmann, both very expensive options, front motors not suitable as I've remarked above.

Moreover, here is Steve Punchard of electricmountainbikes.com on one, with a front motor.....

He was running a two motor setup in the Tour de Presteigne.

Of course a front one can be fitted, but it messes up the "fold" with most motors, unless there's a quick release connector for the wiring, and makes the loose front wheel heavy and awkward to carry in fold mode.
