Squished cells is bad news. It causes self-discharge. You should remove the bad ones and then charge up the pack to see what happens to those remaining in the string. All the cells in the string are in parallel, so it'll give an idea whether they went so low that they got damaged.

Ok, thanks and I don't suppose you or anybody else would know the difference between ANR26650M1B and ANR26650M1A and if they are swappable?

Slightly higher capacity from the B. Should be OK as a direct replacement.

Thanks! I will order some; at least I have the single cell charger on it's way as well so fingers crossed it's not so hard to fix this pack!

Fitted the new cells into the pack and it's fixed. Back up to 12.6Ah on the cycle analyst. Took all morning and 47 miles of hills on throttle only to check!

Yeah, it looks a bit home made now but I've protected all the weight bearing edges with plywood and wrapped it all up in gaffa tape. Then it's in a foam bag, mounted on foam in its carry bag. Not much more I can do really.
