Competition for the in-seat-tube motor, also from Germany but can't remember it's name. Looks like this one means buying the whole new bike though, to get the integrated crank drive gears.

It looks like there is a separate motor/controller and battery unit that plug together then they in turn plug into the down tube. The advantage is the motor drive can be removed or replaced easily or not fitted at all for normal unassisted cycling.
