First real summer weather for riding

These temperatures are the first really hot riding weather I encountered with the e bikes and what a pleasure they are to ride in with no sweating. Went out and did a 20 mile ride with my wife today, stopped off for an icecream at a local village cricket green and just pondered:D
Managed the ride with just once using both throttles to help me up a steep hill near the end of the ride so didn`t want to push the old ticker too far.

I get my car license back in the morning and just can`t believe what has gone on in just 4 weeks:eek:

Saw some other e bikes out and about today so looks like things are picking up.

BTW contrary to popular belief the countryside around NORTH Norfolk is some of the best around the country, many people that just drive up the A11to Norwich think that the whole county is flatish and uninteresting which couldn`t be further from the truth (similar to people that pass through Essex on the M25 or A12 and think it is all the same)

A very true point. I live in a North Essex village about 10 miles west of Colchester. In all honesty it is more akin to Suffolk than South Essex in terms of architechture & culture etc..., It's a fabulous place to live (& cycle) on my 28 mile trip earlier today I only came accross a small handfull of cars, but saw several deer, pheasants, field mice, squirrels etc..., and not a single white stilleto in sight :D :D

I'll second that, spent time around that area many years ago and found the countryside interesting and varied, very unlike the more commonly seen and visited areas.

Is this a self imposed driving ban due to medical advice?
No, you are told that you don`t have to tell DVLA but you can`t drive for 4 weeks. I was told to let my insurance company know and they were used to it as it was run of the mill. Maybe the hospital tells DVLA? The insurance company just says that your insurance is void for 4 weeks.( makes sense I suppose)

Do these rules apply only after a stint insertion surgery or are they effective from the moment of diagnosis until 4 weeks after treatment?

From memory it`s from being informed that youv`e had a heart attack and are in hospital I presume. I check up on it for you.
