finally got my ebc kit up and running fitted to specialised sirrus elite.
I had to change a few things on the sirrus, longer handlebar to accommodate extra bits .throttle, lcd control unit.
and a much bigger triangle bag for controller + wiring.
first ride today and I am comparing to vita uno /kudos mtb 26" 3 levels of assist 10.4ah battery
the ebc kit has five levels of assistance which I like, I found i could ride on flat tarmac terrain in level 1 fairly easily, level 2 was quite nice, (as far as i can judge level 3 seems equal to 2 on the uno 5 similar to 3 on uno)
the extra weight of the kit did not make much difference in bike handling.
if i did the same journey on sirrus and uno with same assistance levels i think i would be quicker on the sirrus, but was using 39t chainring as opposed to unos 32t
did about 1 mile using full speed thumb throttle at 15mph, some modest hilly bits level 5 2 miles maybe most at level 2 did 26.5 miles average about 9 mph but was down to one bar of battery level at 25miles.
i was expecting to be nearer 40 miles with a 13ah battery not sure what remains in battery at 1 bar?
but battery has not been charged apart from being full when shipped.
service and help from ebc has been first class
