It is warm and sunny here in Central Scotland today so I was out for my 1st run of the year. It was good to get back out and I did 14 miles.
I'm glad I bought the bike training thingy in December and I've done 160 miles in my garage over the Winter and felt quite fit out on the bike.
Now that it's milder so there's no salt on the roads I'll be out on the roads more often.

I do indeed and I've conquered many hills on it. I've also conquered 160 miles in my garage on it but there's not many hills in there. ;)

I've managed to get out for a ride about 12 times since Christmas. Only once in heavy snow. I don't mind the cold, but not so keen on heavy rain.

I have a scheduled ride this evening to the place of eternal medicine, only 8 miles, but I reckon it will be Max Assist all the way! Heh!

Here in Lincolnshire , The snow has now gone . It has been with us for about10 days . I get out on my pedal bike and do 10 miles whatever the weather . There was light rain this morning as I set off into an 18MPH wind , but it soon cleared . This afternoon I went to visit a friend on my Powabyke . The wind had dropped and the temperature was above 10 degrees . It was a real treat to be out . Even left the gloves at home . It was a reminder that one day we will ride in just shorts and a Tshirt again .It cant come too soon for me .

This post is full of lies.

It is warm and sunny in central Scotland.............It`s not even warm and sunny in the summertime in central Scotland. :Ø)

The snow has gone in Denmark but I think we could well get a bit more.

Jannie has ridden her Compy to work every day this winter. 10 mile round trip. I have been out quite a lot as well. It looks like a short winter....followed by a very long summer, I hope.

On my daily pedal bike ride today , I decided to do 5 miles north from the town on national cycle route 1 . As well as the customary dog walkers , you often see gangs of men sitting on park benches with cans and bottles of beer , as early as 9 oclock in the morning . As I came bback , the gang had disappeared , leaving broken beer bottles all over the path . I swept as much as I could off the path with my shoe . After lunch , I decided to go back on my Powabyke armed with a dustpan , brush and a plastic bag . Although the path is ok on my pedal bike , it seemed very rough on the Powabyke with lead acid batteries and rigid front fork . I returned by road , and it was a lot smoother . The return trip was about 5 miles without pedalling , at a steady 13 MPH . For some reason it reminded me of a bike my brother had in the late 1950s . It was a "Minimoter " cycle motor with friction drive . The Powabyke has about the same speed , without the noise , fumes and legal hassle .
