Has anyone pre - ordered the fly12?
It would apear that it can be permanently plugged in to the bosch usb out and loops video so can be left alone without having to kerp emptying ghe card.
Seems pricey but big discount fir a pre order.
Have just ordered the 6 from wiggle

I was thinking about it but have for now decided not to and wait for any (if any) teething issues to be sorted out, as with the 6 a better smaller unit emerged later. At £189 it is expensive but 239 is more so once pre- orders have been delivered and is on the open market, may be the next model/upgrade will incorporate GPS.

Been looking at some test vids one with Strava overlay, one in Dark, turning on the light and one using the 6 and 12 together...
The night filming is much better than my gopro which doesnt seem to focus in the dark
The more I look at this the more I like it..

Fly6 03.jpg Fly6 02.jpg My FLY6 arrived yesterday and I must say that I am impressed with the look and feel, It certainly looks like a quality item. Fitted easily on both my bikes but I think I will ad a Zip Tie for safety.. And the light is astonishingly bright!
It can record whist plugged in to an external power supply.. In this case its a 2600MAh stick (a fiver or so in Aldi) that will slot in a saddlebag, so no worries about running flat on a longer run.. All in all a good buy and if the 12 is anything like this I will be having one. UK availability is estimated as Dec-Jan.
I was a bit concerned about video quality on rough ground on a hard tail bike so did a quick run up to the canal ( youtube video has lost some of the quality but still looks good)
I also rather like the perspective.. Just need to find some software that does a picture in picture for video..

I rode with mine on the S/ Downs which is bumpy track and grass and bridle paths and what ever else you can find and pic quality is good with no jarring, depending on light setting (no option to run without) I have had 2 -5 hrs record time.

I think you just lower the brightness to nearly nothing to run without light, but speaking of the light it is astonishingly bright..
Vid of a night ride through Bingley.. ( I haven't found out how to retain the quality when uploading)
