Hello Lynda. I'm into my second year with a Dahon Vitesse modified by Whites of Malmsbury and I've been delighted with it. I've now come to the conclusion that a folder isn't necessary for me which is born out by being folded twice since I bought it. I've since fitted a super tail gate rack from Mont Blanc for under a £100. With the battery removed, I still found it quite a lump to lift, but if buying a folder again I'd be tempted to go for the Brompton Nano because of it's superior fold.
Cheers,
Jim
Hi Jim, I have had a look on whites site but I still think I would prefer a full size folding bike......
the rack you have is it one that you have to remove everytime you leave the car parked up ?
And are they difficult to fit ?
I did think about a rack but to be honest thought it would be far easier to just put a folder in the boot.
I have tried 2 different 20'' wheeled folders which were ok, but very different, think I am just confusing myself now :)
