It is that time of year again - foraging for apples from the community orchard and blackberries from my secret location:)

And me!

Appreciate the foraging though, done loads of it myself and have sources in my local countryside for eating apples, bramley cooking apples, Victoria plums and two varieties of nice wild plums, plus the blackberries and sloes of course. We even have some wild strawberries and raspberries in a few locations.

The bramleys are in a demolished house grounds, the Victoria plums overspill growth from within a bungalow's grounds out through a hedge into the public area.

Sorry for the misleading title - either duff keyboard or fingers.

I haven't seen a forge on a bike but I vaguely remember the old tinker who use to come around and sharpen knives using a rotating grind stone mounted on his bike.

Tonights pud - only missing the clotted cream.
