Forthcoming Events a Plea

Hi

This is especially for Kudos Dave and Wispering Dave BUT also any other manufacturers/dealers who have an event planned .

I know announcements are put into threads but to make it simpler and easier especially newbies why can they not also be entered into "events" on the home page .

I notice the last entry in there is 2011 !!!!!

Because the owners of this forum have decided for some reason that we are not allowed to (Along with most of the other ones). Meaning that everything ends up in one pot which kind of defeat the object of sub forums.

Sorry I did read that thread and the response from David, at the time I just accepted it ........ its really not good enough. To place and in effect bury the most important marketing information in a general thread is madness .

The experienced user will overcome and find the event info., but imagine you are new to the forum . To me I would want this in headlines on the home and indeed every other page .

Hi folks,

I've made the Events thread a sticky at the top of the forum and also updated the Events page on the main site.

If there are any changes, please could you PM helen (HelenJ) and she will update the page.


We met with the developers of the new Pedelecs site on Monday this week and one of the things we will be having is a much more prominent Events page. They will hopefully start work in the next few weeks.
