Tried a 16Ah FreeGo Eagle today, sad to say not impressed.
Whilst it`s probably undoubtedly a decent quality e-bike and appeared very well built (like a tank), so much about it I didn't like.
I know I`m a big guy but the rear hub motor really seemed to lack power compared with my own Bafang 250W SWX bike conversion - it was very noticeable. I also didn`t like the power delivery which didn`t seem smooth at all. When riding in highest power level power was just about acceptable - when in the lowest mode the bike felt so heavy.
Don`t get me wrong, it`s got loads of great features & seems an ideal commuter bike that will no doubt last a long time. They`ve thought alot about this bike and have many desirable features and will probably sell very well with a good warranty and backup.
Personally, I`m still after a Kudos Typhoon
