I don't think that will work Cwah - that extender is only to enable an old-fashioned threaded fork to take a modern threadless stem. You need a fork with a long enough steerer tube to begin with. You'd be better looking for one that's too long and can be cut down, as I don't think you'll be able to extend a short one effectively or safely. Good luck.

Sorry I sent the wrong link. I didn't see it is an adapter.

Couldn't that work?

Otherwise I may have to consider a rigid fork.

Hello all,

I'm going to get this bike frame:
https://shop.juicedbikes.com/collections/e-bikes/products/odk-u350

And the base fork is non suspended:
https://shop.juicedbikes.com/collections/parts/products/juiced-riders-u500-v3-front-fork

I'd like to get front suspension because of london's potholed road.

The problem is that the bike has a 305mm steering shaft length. Do you know where I can find a front fork that would fit?

Thank you
Hi cwah, based on your past posts we all had an idea what you were striving toward. I am happy to say that this bike will suit you very well to assist you during your daily commute. I hope you will find what you are looking for with the help of others.

Edit stupid link....

You need a longer steerer tube and they seem easy enough to find. Most steerer tubes are delivered too long and have to be cut to size you should contact rst by mail to see what lengths they have.

You need the dimension of the steering tube. If you can't find a long enough one you could have an extension welded.

I found this one at 600mm. It's surely long enough?

exhaust pipe will be too thin...

Something a bit thicker like this > https://www.keyclampstore.com/galvanised-steel-tube-27mm-outer-diameter?gclid=CKy2waun_9MCFQ46GwodTWYF9Q

or this length

That looks super heavy lol.

There are some with larger wall thickness:

Couldn't 1.5mm work? I'd like to get strong but lightweight material!

Did you ask juiced bikes how long it had to be? Did they offer to sell you a stem for a suspension fork?

Just asking...
