Doesn't seem that solid to me. Is it a good design?

7-8 kg in the front wheel... tyre and rim are going to need changing quite often around here

It looks pretty good to me - not the first e-bike retro-fit wheel though. I wonder what happened to the one I saw a year or two ago?

Personally I like buying an ebike as a complete, tested unit, but I'd be happy for these to take off, if they are beginner friendly. The more routes we have into ebike ownership, the better.
