Well I got my new bike controller with no pedal assist feature, so I decided to plug the peal assist sensor cable into this new controller's throttle input. I try the bike and as long as I don't pedal the motor doesn't work, as it should be, when I pedal, the motor starts, as it should, but immediately goes to full power and remains in full power until I turn the key to cut the power, I beleive it's because it swings the wheel with so much power that the pedal assit snesor gets jammed in the bottom, making it think I'm pedaling really fast when it's in fact the motor making the wheel turn.

Would there be any way to make the pedal assist sensor signal "compatible" with the signal expected by the throttle input so I can restore my pedal assist feature? Or will I need to live without this feature? If so, it'll be like going from an automatic to a manual car, something I really didn't want to do, there's a reason I chose an automatic e bike, because I wanted it automatic, not manual.

Thanks
