Any news from early birds?
The worms are in premium condition at the moment because they're putting on weight from all the autumn leaves they're eating. Naturally, you have to go out early to get them before they're all gone.

I backed this product and have received it. I must say it is very well made. I have been in discussions with the creators right from the start and I have just confirmed with them that I will be stocking these once they are available to people beyond the original crowd funded batch.

If you are interested in getting hold of the battery then please go to the link below and add your email for a no-obligation notification when stock is due.

I think there must be something I'm missing. It's £390 for a 48v battery without any cells in it. Is that right? A set of 13S3P cells (Sanyo 18650GA) is around £108. The total cost of a 48v 10 Ah battery would be around £500 without shipping costs, which works out at about £1 per wh without shipping costs.

A 48v 20Ah Greenlance or Yose battery can be had for about £300 inc shipping, which works out at about £0.32 per wh for comparison.

I'd be surprised if anybody is interested in 10Ah 48v batteries. 3S is too small for the currents people want. I hope they're working on 13S6P cases, but they're going to be massive by comparison because of all the other stuff in the case. I wish you every success. Maybe something will change that makes it more viable. If I got something wrong please let us know.

Hi. The prices are current placeholders, guesstimates based on the cost values I have been supplied so far. Hopefully the price will be lowered once further costs to me are calculated and understood.

The £390 cost estimate that is stated is for the complete battery, built and ready to use, so including cells. The point in the product is not to be the cheapest on the market per wh. If you are after that, then don't choose this product as it is not competitive on that variable alone.

Of course, this is the first version of the product, I am sure as time goes by there will be further versions ,making improvements on it.

I am impressed by the design and very happy to see a company putting the right to repair at the very top of their agenda.

Thanks.

OK, thanks for that. I think £390 including cells is reasonable considering some of the features you get.
