Hi Graham here, just saying hello.
I've just bought and fitted (over Xmas) a rear hub conversion kit.
Hoping to start cycling to work soon, I'm sick of sitting in my car in traffic, its around 15 miles but regularly takes me over an hour to get in and also get home again.
I tried a couple of times last year to cycle but it was just a bit to far.
Because of short cuts etc that the car wont go, it's about 12 miles, my biggest problem was that from my house to work is pretty much up hill all the way. Not by much, about 210ft elevation change, but it meant it took me about 75 mins to get in, and 45mins to get home. So by the time I got to work I was knackered.
I'm hoping the assistance the motor provides will overcome the problem of the elevation change.
Planning a dry run (no pun intended) over the weekend.
