Hi Anybody, I have just joined this forum so not quite sure how to enter conversations..so sorry for starting a new one!
I have a Kalkoff Intergrale s11 with Evo rs 2 motor. Lovely bike, terrible drive system. I wish I had a Bosch drive!
But I don't and I'm stuck with this bike; however I am sure the problem is the way the bike is set up at the factory which seems to be to give maximum range, I get about 70 k on Ultra. (max power) The cost is the assist is rubbish, it really only cuts in when going up hills and then not much compared to my wife's Bosch; she motors past me on all hills!! Her bike cost half what mine cost. Surly the electric motor is basically the same, an electric motor is an electric motor..its the controller set up that determines the power etc.
So I can't help thinking there must be programming genius's somewhere on the Pedelecs forums that knows a way to access the programming, there is a connector available that connects to a PC, to change to perimeters. Basically I will happily sacrifice range for more power!
