Had a puncture this morning so had to use one of the Lad's bikes today, After first moving the saddle up from ground level to a more 'sensible' position I then found out just how much assistance the Wisper had been giving me ~ I was knackered when I got to work, and if people criticise the wisper brakes they should have tried these.... I really must sort them out.

I was only 50 yards from home so I will do it tonight.
I guess now you know the difference you'll opt for the repair next time. :D
I have my mum's old bike at home as a standby but I dread the day I need to use it. It's in good condition and when the weather is better I plan to try it, the weather is quite good now but I just can't bring myself to do it.

Last time I had a puncture I pushed the bike home and repaired it at home. I'll admit it took me ages. The main problem was finding the hole. I had to resort to a using a bucket of water. Even when I found it it was still impossible to actually see it.
I also took the time to vacuum out the inside of the tyre. Time consuming but not had a puncture for last 550 miles.
