Had first longish ride today. Very impressed.Teething problems with a stiff chain and indexing but once sorted ( by dealer) superb.
21 miles , 2/3 off road ( big tracks but 3 longish climbs) .Made return to car on road so easy... Actually like power coming off at 25kmh.
Started ride with 90% in battery, still at 45% at end. Used on standard setting throughout.
Only issue,I,m sure its sortable, battery does rattle over bumps etc. Might bee designed to move but ?? Thinking of a bungee or something..Any ideas...
Big thanks to all at James Cycles. Really helpful and friendly..Highly recommended. Them and bike. So far cant fault either.

you will have to take the plastic cover off the top part and have a look.

Made up a Velcro strap that wraps around battery/ frame..totally eliminates rattling...takes 10 seconds to fit/ remove..
Another 21 miles today..used 45%.. Fantastic bike.

FYI, tested an XDURO hardtail for three weeks on very washed out trails in SoCal --- not a bit of battery movement. I would surmise that it's not good for the battery to rattle around.
