Haibike / Yamaha PW error code 12

HI,

I wonder if anyone can help me. I have a 2016 Haibike Yamaha PW system showing error code 12.
This is meant to be cured by changing the display, which I have done ( yes it is a 2016 display)!

and..

No difference, I still get error code 12. The manual says that it should just work without clearing error codes etc......
The bike has been perfect since new, put it away one week, the next week it is dead with no use in between!

From what I understand code 12 means not communicating with the display. Could the sensor or magnet be off?

True, but the remedy is listed as fitting a new display!

Ok, I have sorted it. Just in case others have the same problem ….
So code 12 is a display fault and remedy is listed as a display change.
However, if you happen to have a speedbox 2 fitted, remove that first as it turns out mine had failed and was cutting the signal to the display. Unplugged it and all is fine again!
