So my 2 week old vengeance is again back in the shop. They say they will order a new one for me.
Latest issue is the motor does nothing now but shudder and smell.
Earlier issues:
Disc brakes high pitch squeal and lower pitch groan.
Paint on handlebar stem being scraped off because of cables rubbing against it.
Battery only lasts 16 - 20 miles because I have it on high power all the time and I live in a really hilly area.
Plastic nut/cable guard out of back axle keeps coming loose and hanging on the motor cable.
Same motor cable was cable tied to inside of frame right in front of rear sprocket gears, and I could feel the cable being rough to the touch where the chain or sprocket maybe hits it intermittently.

The range will not be any different on the replacement bike. 8.8ah won’t take you far on full power.

Upgrade to a better system and forget any bike using Suntour HESC system.

I agree with Jonah.

If possible, get your money back and buy something more suited to your specific requirements from a dealer who will give you decent customer service and support.

Faulty goods
Consumer protection legislation says that items must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If you buy a product online and it's found to be faulty within 30 days, you're entitled to ask for a full refund of the faulty product. If a fault occurs after the initial 30 days, we're entitled to repair and/or replace that item. If it can't be repaired or replaced, then you may be entitled to a refund. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens' Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.

For hills you need to look at the likes of the Woosh Rio, Oxygen S-Cross, FreeGo and others with plenty of gears and hydraulic brakes.

The FreeGo Eagle is good up hills. See this thread for a used one:

You need a battery rated at 13ah as an absolute minimum for a decent range with hilly terrain, IMO.

I would ask for a refund, but it was bought thru cycle2work scheme and I know I would have difficulty getting companies HR to agree to cancel the contract, so I am locked in.
I was going to buy the bigger crossfire battery, but I will hold off until I see how the replacement works out.

On another note, a friend bought an ebike crossfire and guess what happened one day when we were out cycling ... Yep, it turned itself off, after going thru a puddle.

Thanks for all your replies.
