I'm very happy with my yose converted mountain bike, makes life so much easy and enjoyable, the only small niggle are my bars are hurting my wrist after around 8 or so miles, thinking maybe a handlebar raiser would be good looking at 2 at moment one is an extension the other is a bolt on adjustable type anyone recommend anything thankyou.

Before going to the trouble of changing handlebars, are your wrists angled down when you grip the bars? If so, try rotating the brake levers down to encourage you to keep your wrists straight. I found that bar ends gave an alternative position to move the hands occasionally and relieve any numbness. There are lots of different styles and short rubber ones did the job without being too intrusive.

I too used to suffer from wrist and shoulder pain. I fitted an extension to the stem but also fitted OnOne Mary bars. Theses give a slight rise and are swept back, giving the wrists a more natural angle. They also allow you to ride with elbows unlocked so more able to absorb bumps and shocks without transferring it through to the shoulder/neck.

I just sold the Old Giant Prime I had this is very much in the style of lime but much better ( actually missing it )

Now I am trying different bikes missing its comfort and riding style

I have arthritis at the top of my spine that makes my right shoulder and arm get still and painful so front and rear seat suspension along with riser or BMX style handle bar so I can sit up straight I find is the best combination for this type of so far mild discomfort and disability.

You can make just about any bike comfortable if you get the right stem and handlebars. You can use a stem riser ti increase the height of the bars to get a more upright position. I've had to change all my bikes because my neck gives in if I ride in the looking up position.

Yes I know what you mean ,.

We plan something then get on and ride and it’s not what is expected with so many different set up,s possible.

When we first bought the Prime I took an instant dislike to it but for an older bike it turned out to be very useful both the wife and I used it to drop stuff off send but comfortable on long rides.

We have a smaller Entour + I think it’s 2019 really nice bike but the Prime was that bit better and older spec like pull brakes .
