Has anybody taken delivery of any bike with the new Bosch motor?

It would be interesting to know if anybody has taken delivery of the new Bosch motor,my London dealer has a number of bikes on back order,I know of a well respected e-bike dealer who has 24 bikes (at least)on back order.
The new Bosch motor was everywhere at Eurobike,it looks like Bosch have promised too many manufacturers and can't deliver?
Come back Eddieo he would know what's going wrong......!!!!!

No, Eddie has just bought a 2013 Haibike RC 26" on german ebay for €1700, near £1500 with postage, but that uses the old unit.

Last word from him was:

"Still want either the 2014 grace or dual suspension R&M, but delays apparently", which he gleaned from our posts in here.

The first bikes are due Jan - March.

Bosch never intended to bring bikes to market for sale at eurobike. They were just manufacturer examples for their 2014 ranges.

Hi Martin, this news just meant they couldn't suppy some brands, we have already started shipping 2014 Bosch equipped bikes to the dealers who ordered them.

As posted previously we have a bike with new Bosch system KTM Macina Sport (lightweight but has mudguards and lights). Really impressed e.g. not just new motor but also how the battery slots into place. We have more bikes arriving soon including R&M Blue Label Charger in December.

Kudos Dave out of interest do you own part of London electric bike company you refer to, hope all is good?

One of the guys from our uk office is over at ktm in Austria at the moment, and sent us this pic of the Bosch equipped ktms that are being built yesterday. They are working hard to build them as fast as possible because demand is high. It looks like we're on of the few brands with stock!!
