Having a rack and panniers on your eBike, is it right?

I have a designer Meecedes Benz Smart eBike, the flowing lines and simpleness of form is stunning, but I see they do a rack and panniers for it, handy for my French bread in France, do you think it would make you look working class and lose all the Betty of the bike, or is it acceptable to carry this extra weight and ugliness?

Thia is what it looks like although my bike is the stunning grey with orange accents.

I was going to get a front basket (not a designer accessory but available in Decathlon) but my fantastic Busch and Muller LED lights prevent this fitting.
