Hear shrink (large for whole packs)

Hey folks

Where do you buy your heat shrink from to shrink a whole pack (so 40 or 50 cells welded ?)

I can find plenty for wiring (and indeed have plenty ) but struggling to find the big stuff

Any ideas ? Thanks

My pack is 50 cells in a long thin arrangement

Hello Kirstin,
I get mine off Aliexpress any colour but blue is common, once it is shrunk it becomes very stiff so wear marks can occur and small splits on corners. HK used to sell a red thick good one which is very sturdy, I think more of a rubber compound, also look on Nkon as they sell it when it is in stock !!!
For correct size shrink measure the height and width of pack & add together to find the minimum size to buy, so if 80mm X 50mm you need min 130mm, it pays to get a larger size like 150 -180mm. For length cutting measure length then x 1.5.
