I am interested in replacing a Heinzmann nicad silver box battery pack with a 10/12ah lithium bottle battery. Can anyone advise on this please.
I realise the Hienzmann controller has a half volt feed and that I would need to connect a wire to the batterys mid cell.
Has anyone done this and retained the original controller and throttle or is this not possible?Should I just replace them?
Also I would like to know the normal and max loading on the battery from the Hienzmann kit? to match a new batterys discharge current.
Thanks for any help

That's an interesting question.

Since nobody here seems to know the answer, perhaps it might be worth contacting the UK Heinzmann agent.

Heinzmann motor kits are optionally supplied with lithium batteries now, but their controller may have been changed of course.
